Essilor บริษัทผู้ผลิตเลนส์แว่นตาสัญชาติฝรั่งเศส กว่า 50 ปี ได้ควบรวมกิจการระหว่าง 2 บริษัทยักษ์ใหญ่ Essel ผู้ที่เก่งด้านนวัตกรรมของการออกแบบแว่นตาในยุค 1955 ได้รับรางวัลและชื่อเสียงมากมาย จนได้มาพบกับ Silor ผู้ที่เชี่ยวชาญด้านการผลิตเลนส์แว่นตาคุณภาพเยี่ยม จึงได้ควบรวมกันเป็นบริษัทเดียวโดยใช้ชื่อ Essilor ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี 1972 และได้มีการพัฒนาเลนส์แว่นตามาอย่างต่อเนื่องจนถึงปัจจุบันและได้เปิดตัวสินค้าเลนส์โปรเกรสซีพ Varilux เป็นอีกนวัตกรรมเด่นของ Essilor ที่เปลี่ยนโลกของผู้ที่มีสายตายาวตามวัย จนทำให้มีผู้คนรู้จักมากมายและปัจจุบันยังมี Partnership ที่ร่วมกันในการทำ R&D เช่น Transition , Nikon technology , Luxottica จึงทำให้ Essilor เป็นแบรนด์เลนส์แแว่นตาที่น่าจับตามองเป็นอย่างยิ่ง..
